Little Song Parent-Child Club (ages 15 months-3 years)
Little Song is a parent-child group designed for young children aged 15 months to their third birthday, and their parents or caregivers (infant siblings welcome at no additional cost).
An experienced facilitator guides parents through a morning of circle time, snack, story time, nature-based activity and free play. The program offers a wonderful way to meet other parents and build an early connection to nature. Class size is limited to 10 children. Our monthly and weekly themes are based on what we observe around us at our location in central Ames, and follow the rhythms of the seasons. We'll be outdoors the whole time at the start of the year, weather-permitting, and move indoors when needed. Every second week of the month we will park in the west part of the parking lot and walk to the woods. Here we will practice "risky play" by climbing and exploring in the woods.

Participating families are also invited to attend Prairie Flower's seasonal festivals, to further meet other families and build community.
