Preschool Assistant Teacher
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (or as assigned)
*This position works scheduled hours for the school year. There are no working hours during the summer. Some trainings may be available during the summer and will be paid on an hourly basis as approved by the center director.
Reports to: PFCC Center Director
Starting Wage: $11/hr. Employees will be paid at their hourly rate for all scheduled teaching, meeting, training and festival time.
Under the direction of the center director, the preschool teacher creates a nurturing and engaging environment for students and families. The primary responsibilities of the assistant teacher include providing supervision of all children at all times; providing interventions to meet the unique needs of individual children; and providing individual intervention to respond to socio-emotional needs of individual children.
Education and Experience:
At least 1 year of experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
bachelor’s degree preferred
