• Aug. 25: First day of PoemTree after-school care

September: 

• Sept. 1: Labor Day -- Prairie Flower closed
• Sept. 2: First Day of Morning Song and Day Song preschool
• Sept. 2-5: Early-out care for PoemTree after-school care (cost is $17 per day for extra care)
  Sept. 25: Back-to-School Night (5:30-7 p.m.)
  

October: 

• Fall family event this month TBD. The Event Planning committee will share details as the event draws closer.
  
• Oct. 6: Professional Development Day – Prairie Flower closed
  
• Oct. 29: Tabling at United Way of Story County's "Malloween" event (4:30-6:30 p.m. at North Grand Mall)

November: 

• Nov. 20: Early-out care for PoemTree after-school care (cost is $17 for the extra hours)
  
• Nov. 25: Early-out care for PoemTree after-school care (cost is $17 for the extra hours)
  
• Nov. 26-28: Thanksgiving Break – Prairie Flower closed

December: 

• Winter family event this month TBD. The Event Planning committee will share details as the event draws closer.
  
• Dec. 22: Winter Break begins (Dec. 22-Jan. 4)
  

January 2026: 

• Jan. 5: Programming resumes after winter break.
• Jan. 19: MLK Day – Prairie Flower closed
  

February: 

• Spring family event this month TBD. The Festival Planning committee will share details as the event draws closer.
  
• Feb. 27: Spring Professional Development Day – Prairie Flower closed
  

March: 

• March 13-10: Spring Break – Prairie Flower closed
  

April:

• May 25: Memorial Day – Prairie Flower closed
  
• May 29: Early-out care for PoemTree after-school care (cost is $17 for the extra hours)
• May 29: Last day of school-year programming
• May 29: End-of-the-year celebration! More information to come as the date nears.

June

• Summer programming begins. Summer enrollment is on a week-by-week basis, with enrollment starting around spring break. Currently enrolled families will have priority enrollment for a 2-week period before general enrollment opens to the public.
